    How the IQ Test Works

Four steps, from the first question to your final score

    1. Answer 30 Questions

The test runs through 30 questions covering four areas: abstract pattern recognition, logical inference, numerical series, and verbal relationships. Questions get harder as you go, so slowing down later is expected.

    ⏱️ 10-minute limit — most people finish in 3–5

You'll see a countdown while you answer. If time runs out, the questions you already answered are still scored. Work at a natural pace rather than rushing.

    2. Scoring

Answers are weighted by item difficulty rather than counted flat, so a correct answer late in the test contributes more than an easy one at the start. Your weighted total is then mapped onto the standard 100/15 IQ scale.

    3. See Your Estimated Score

As soon as you finish, you get an estimated IQ range at no cost and without creating an account. That's enough to know roughly where you landed on the scale.
